Price Series (since 01/05/2004) » Cepea began to collect corn prices in July of 2000 in the four main producing areas in Brazil: Rio Verde, in the state of Goiás, Cascavel, in Paraná state, Campinas, in Sao Paulo state and Chapecó, in Santa Catarina state. From December of 2002 on, the researched areas were expanded to Passo Fundo, in Rio Grande do Sul state, Ponta Grossa, in Paraná State, Northern and Southwestern regions of Parana state and Uberlândia, in Minas Gerais State.
