Decreasing future prices, but firm exports in Brazil

Brazilian sugar mills remain dealing exports contracts, despite the decreasing future prices in the international market. The negative fundaments are rumors about a larger sugar production in the Center-Southerner of Brazil in relation to the initial projections. For now, those speculations were not confirmed.

In the domestic market, sugar has been trading around 23.00 dollars per bag of 50 kilos, almost unchanged during the month.
