The CEPEA/ESALQ Index for anhydrous ethanol averaged 0.4048 dollar per liter in September, down 8.05 percent in relation to August. The hydrated one decreased 7.75 percent, averaging 0.75609 real or 0.3484 dollar per liter.
The downward trend is due to the larger supply, as normally occurs in September, when the crop processing usually increases.
Between Sep 25 and 29, the CEPEA/ESALQ Index for anhydrous ethanol averaged 0.39540 dollar per liter, down only 0.3 percent in relation to the previous week. The hydrated one settled 0.34392 dollar per liter, up 0.67 percent.
The sugarcane crop processing should be completed by the end of November and the first quince of December in the Center-Southerner of Brazil.
