During September, Brazilian ethanol prices had small variations. In this context, the CEPEA/ESALQ Index (Sao Paulo state) closed stable for one more month. For anhydrous, the Index dropped 0.73 percent over the previous month, averaging 0.66073 real or 0.3478 dollar per liter (excluding taxes). The hydrated kept unchanged, at 0.58096 real or 0.3058 dollar per liter (excluding taxes).
Between Sept 24th and 28th, the CEPEA/ESALQ Index for hydrated averaged 0.58096 real or 1.0659 dollar per liter (excluding taxes), stable over the previous week. For anhydrous, the average was of 0.66073 real or 1.2117 dollar per liter (excluding taxes), decreasing little 0.19 percent (excluding taxes).
The great volume of contracts settled in this crop should justify this stability, which has been occurring since June this year.
