The domestic ethanol prices decreased in a good pace in August, pressed by the larger supply as harvest and processing move ahead in Brazil. The downward trend lost strength only by the end of the month, as the available supply got a little smaller.
Even so, in the accumulated of the month, the anhydrous ethanol moved down 9 percent, at 0.42583 dollar per liter* on August, 25. The hydrated one, 8 percent, to 0.36648 dollar per liter*.
