Stable prices in a slowly market

Brazilian soybean market keeps moving at a slow pace in the first week of November, due to the holiday this Thursday, November 2. Prices, in turn, remain almost unchanged.

The CEPEA/ESALQ Index (delivered in Paraná State) closed at 14.85 dollars per bag of 60 kilos, down only 0.34 percent in relation to the previous day. In the accumulated of October, prices increased 12.5 percent.

At the moment, the market remains focused on planting activities in the South America. According to USDA, at the beginning of this week, 83 percent of this year's American production had already been harvested. In Brazil, the activities started earlier and they have been intensified, helped by rainfalls.
