Methodology

Product specification extra size egg, white and brown;
Unit of measurement: 

box with 30 dozen eggs;

Currency prices are originally calculated in Real; asking price at 4:30 p.m. (Brasilia time);
Delivery quotes refer to the product to be withdrawn (FOB, without freight);
Calculation the prices comprise arithmetic average of each type of egg, in each region;
Methodological criteria values that exceed the 2.5 variation coefficient and, at the same time, that are two standard deviations up or down the average are excluded. The daily average is formed by values collected on the current day and in the seven previous days (moving average of eight days);
Discount rate for term payments: CDI (Interbank Deposit Rate);
Taxes no taxes included;
Frequency daily;
Historic since May 2013;
Agents consulted for the survey growers, wholesalers and retailers.
